〈 Le CHELSEA 〉The CHELSEA SHIRT is a classic round-collar shirt crafted from 100% cotton fabric that recreates the Dan River oxford used in vintage Brooks Brothers shirts. This staple piece, which has been part of MADISONBLUE's first collection since its inception, has been updated while retaining its original meticulous details. The placket lining is chain-stitched to intentionally create puckering. The side seams are 5mm felled seams. The yoke is split and half-bias to allow the fabric to move easily. A box pleat expands the range of motion, allowing the sleeves to be freely rolled up and down. The cuffs are gathered, and gussets are added to the side hems for reinforcement against tearing. Mother-of-pearl buttons are attached with reinforced cross-stitching. It features a high collar and slender arms. The new CHELSEA SHIRT is designed to be worn untucked. The body has been given a slightly roomier, boyish finish.
